Re: WHERE FROM??
I think this stinks - there are plenty of UK customers who would like to buy this game. You released your 101st Airborne here - Ive seen it in some stores. Why arent you releasing Space Empires as well? Also whats the point releasing a demo on loads of magazines here and getting coverage if you arent planning to release it in stores here. Perhaps you could contact EBoutique or Game Ltd and get them to distribute it? I would really like to buy the game but wont buy Online and wont pay the expensive shipping charges either. I cant imagine you make many sales Online. I think this game is well on par with the forthcoming Stars Supernova and would buy it if I saw it in a store here, But I guess Ill just have to wait for Supernova now! How bloody disappointing can you get after playing the demo for weeks?

Re: WHERE FROM??
Err... Guys, the game's going to be released over the internet,
and I think (this information may not be up to date) that it will come out on storeshelfs in US on the early part of 2001.
And I sure hope they'll release it on the storeshelfs
here in Europe to, but I'd say that is late 2001. I hope it's sooner beacause of the simple fact that there's going to be more people to hear about it on storeshelfs, and that means more people to play againbst over the net.

Re: WHERE FROM??
Errgh, how unfortunate
I hate to see SE4 losing sales over distribution issues like this, but what is a small independent publisher to do? Richard, I admire your courage, but threads like this must make you pull your hair out in frustration. Not that I'm saying anyone's position is at all unreasonable, this is just one of those "ah, ****" situations...

Re: WHERE FROM??
I don't get you're point, but then I don't live in the UK.
No!!! DO you really mean that you can't download a 450mg game? (That's joke) An you don't get my point. BE GLAD YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL LATE 2001
I don't know how much a £ is is dollars
but were I live it's 1 dollar to about 10 kronor. That means around 400 kr that I'll have to pay ...

Re: WHERE FROM??
Guys,
I understand the frustration but blame the stores and the big publishers for this (all of which would not publish SE:IV). If you want a store to get the game prior to our retail release we will entertain ANY stores inquiry to buy our game in quantity.
101 was released via a publisher called Empire Interactive and guess what we got ripped off by them and the retail chains in regards to royalties, and thus we started this independent company. We had a huge loss on 101 money wise.

Re: WHERE FROM??
I'm going to be away on the 1st november! NOOO!!! I'll have to wait even longer!!!
But if I preorder it would be lying at the mail office for a while. Hmmm
Question: How long does it take to get SEIV if you preorder it and live in northern europe? Might be good to know.
