Well greetings gentlemen..and ladies..(who knows grin)

well, the question is..if we can play an Online game.i dont mind waiting for others..to finish their turns..but i believe we can do tactical in that way. Im quite sure it could be some wait sometimes..but a 5 min wait ever so often for others..would allow for more time to work on strategy between the turns. My primary purpose in this is to control battles tactically and enjoy being Online with others..playing a computer is a poor excuse for an opponent, and 3-4 players in a small or mid sized univers would keep game fairly lower tech, and a a bit more enjoyable. larger games would be a bit cumbersome to say the least. But as long game is saveable..it can be done.

Im glad there is interest at least. but to me Email games seem dead and uninteresting..not to mention the non tactical battles...phooey.. i assume that we can at least try an internet/ ip game and am willing to try if any want to join. im fairly new to this game.but it looks interesting/ no need for AI..no point in playing it long term without idea of playing others Online directly.

I surely dont mind a game that we go back to and play on ..im not expecting to finish in one setting.

feel free to add me in icq..and let me know..we can at least try to give it a shot with 3-4 players or so.

From what im hearing....can we even play TCP/ip?

i dont like hurried games..and i dotn mind waiting..on turn /based ..no simul..no thanks..that gets into a click fest..as you have pointed out..

it looked like we could ..why not give it a shot..if we cant..i will be sending a message to MM to make sure that it does..

Email is no subsitute to sitting out a good 6 hours on a weekend to play a game...

i like good long turns :P and i dont mind
waiting for others..i got a bottle of scotch handy if the wait gets to long....:P

Comrade! (Just had to say hello to the marxist)

Well, you could always ALT-TAB out of the window when you're waiting for a long time.

The two will hover, spinning inches above the ground. With a giant buttered cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.
