Re: Making Cloaked Warp Points, Stealth Armor
To test your planetary cloaking facility,
start a game with two human players. Go
back and forth between them.

Re: Making Cloaked Warp Points, Stealth Armor
that is btw how I always play, but I haven't managed to force my way through the overzealous AI hordes (my altered spaceyards make them a tad more viscous than normal...

Re: Making Cloaked Warp Points, Stealth Armor
Um, if you really wanted to test planetary
cloaking, you might just generate a couple
of human players only. You could even tweak
the Settings.txt file so that the number of
systems is so low you couldn't help but be
closely situated. If the cloaking technology
takes awhile to get to, tweak your culture
to have a 1600% research bonus or something.

Re: Making Cloaked Warp Points, Stealth Armor
Just make a small galaxy, pick the Eee, cause they see the whole map, and max out AI players. Pick cheats on along with max technology. Then after you start, just turn all the AI's into human players and find the one closest to you. Use the cheats to build stuff fast. That's the best way to test things out quickly.
