Re: Well, I just pulled another all nighter
The Narn and Eee were rocking in my game as well. Eee were first for quite a while and the Narn have risen from 18th position to the 2nd spot. The modded AI's provide quite a different order of challenge that the original.

Re: Well, I just pulled another all nighter
You can download the borg from my site. Just click on the address at the bottom of my signature. The Borg were set up to be aggressive, but I think the AI needs some help. I orignially got the borg from Warp_nines site. I have a link to his site in my links page. You could always reset up the borg to be really BA's if you wish. I have not worked on them that much. I have plans to tweak them both in the AI department as well as in the ship sets.
But they do offer a nice balance, and have a good speech file. I highly recommend them.

Re: Well, I just pulled another all nighter
Thanks, I was just there. I read your post in the mods section of the forum. There seems to be a problem with the download though, I keep getting stuck at 24% oddly enough. I will keep trying though...
Ok, I got it and will try it out. thanks again.

Re: Well, I just pulled another all nighter
I just downloaded it from my site without any problems. Are you on dial up faster?.
If on dial up, try this, its what I did just now. I opened it in a new window,( right clicking on the download link) and had it open it from location. (The top choice in the file download box.) You might try that, and then just unzip it into a folder.
Past that, I don't know what the hold up is. God you just have to love your ISP. (?)
Good luck, and let me know how it worked. Thanks.

You should use my Klingon speech file.

Re: Well, I just pulled another all nighter
I was at work when I was trying to download the file (yes I know, company time... ). At work I have a OC3 connection. If you are not certain what this means I usually get around 400 to 700kbps, fast, really fast. When I did finally get the file the average DL speed was around 5.5kbps, slow, really slow. Could be angelfire (the host) was performing some kind of maintainance...

OC-3 is a 155.52 Mbps SONET (Synchronous Optical NETwork) connection; if you're only getting 400 to 700 kbps, either you're sharing that connection with lots of people or the remote site is only allowing you that much bandwidth.
Sorry; couldn't resist showing off my knowledge of real-world stuff...
