Default PBM File Questions

Running a PBM game for my game group, but the players are having trouble viewing ship movement. I am sending them the .gam file as the manual says. Are there other files I need to be sending out and must they go to individual players? Please help.

Thanks,

Valaen

Default Re: PBM File Questions

I've never played any PBEM games myself, but I think there are some event.txt files or something AFTER THE FIRST TURN. (.txt files)

Try this:

Empty the savegame directory.

Start a new PBEM game.

Generate the first turn.

Distribute the *.gam file to the players

Collect all the new player files and the .gam file in a new folder.

Back up your savegame folder and rename the new folder "savedgames" (I think)

Generate the new turn and take a look at your savedgames folder.

There should be some *.txt files that the other players need to log on.
