Re: The Marines Have Landed!
My first thought was that he had swung his hand back to chuck a grenade, but now I figure he's signalling something to the rest of the squad. It does look like he's giving his buddy a friendly pat though.
About the color...well this is off the cuff but maybe it's a bit too...blue? I mean you could go all out and put an anchor on it too but...

"NEVER leave me, Chad!"
I like the background color, but a darker shade of the same hue would bring out the foreground figures better.

Re: The Marines Have Landed!
Hi,
I had thought that a gold globe and anchor might look nice.
Do you all think 2 or 3 firepower would be better?
Best,
Mark

I would have the Marines have the same firepower as reg Army, but be better in a melee. But that's just me and my VCR talking.
The anchor could be cool Or having the figures in a more aggressive fighting stance, maybe.

Re: The Marines Have Landed!
I'm not sure about the gold globe because uniforms might get lost against it. With proper shading, it might work though. The anchor sounds like a better idea to me.
I think a firepower of 2 is good. 3 is a bit high, considering a 12.7mm cannon team only has 4. Maybe a moral of 6, like the SMCs? Them US Marines are tough SOBs, ya know.

Re: The Marines Have Landed!
Hi Guys,
Big debate over at Consimworld about this. You might want to join in. Thing was... The Marines had 3 fireteams vice the Army's two per squad. I'm leaning toward three, but we have to playtest it.
By the way. Anyone up for a playtest weekend. I live 45 south of Roanoke. We could all get together for a weekend. The food and beer is on me. There's plenty of room at my house.
Best,
Mark
