I probably will read reviews, check out features, etc. before buying. It's looking pretty good from the screenshots though

Well if its like the old Elite or Privateer games...then I would definetly get this game...especially the open universe and modding...
gotta tell ya Malfdador is already up there in my eyes like another favorite company i follow KOEI...I wonder if there can be Asian ship sets in Space Empires ? hmmm

Asian ship sets? How would shipsets made by someone from Asia be any different from anyone else's shipsets? Heck, how are Asian naval vessels any different from anyone else's naval vessels?

maybe it is a typo and the reference was to the "Aslan". A race from the Traveller tm Role-Playing system. Just a guess.

Easy, have you seen the old historical design of asian vessels? Slightly different, yet just as good, I was thinking of creating, with a flair of asian culture, I have a few ideas, and hope to try them out.
