What is A.5 graphics? Never heard of that. I know my video card can handle OpenGL and DirectDraw, but I've never heard of A.5. Can someone clarify what that is? Thanks |

I don't know what A.5 stands for but it is using Direct X. It will run on any conventional PC.

Just to expand a bit: It will run on any conventional computer as long as the user has DirectX installed on it. But most if not all computers now a days have this feature pre-installed. And if they don't then everygame that needs it that I've found comes with DirectX on the CD for you to install from. So it's no big deal no matter what.

Just make sure to get the most current Version of DirectX you can find. Sometimes you can find it on one of those computer games magazines disc, like what PC Gamer puts out. Or you download it from the Windows website.

I've got an 850mhz Celeron laptop with some wierd Gateway video card that uses the systems ram(either8,16,0r 32 meg). Will that wierd video card handle the game?
Actually it doesn't matter too much as my desktop will handle it fine and as I just preordered I'll find out for myself soon anyways.  |
