Well, I hate to break the news to you, but there aren't any remote mining drones anywhere to be found.

There are mine layers, though... if your ship lacks a rear weapons arc (like most Terran ships, the cocky b*****ds ), buy a mine layer, let an enemy trail behind you, then lay a mine... BOOM! Out goes his forward shield... or if you modded in an Ion Pulse Mine, you could even disable his engines so you can sneak around behind him and start hitting HIM where it hurts!

Same error for me, and I am also using a Geforce (2 MX actually) with Windows XP and DirectX 9.0 Perhaps there is a problem with Geforce graphic cards? (I don't expect my computer to be actually able to run Star Fury though, but who knowns? )

That is to say, yet another Geforce user which is having trouble. Is there anyone with a Geforce able to play the demo? If so, with what drivers? Or perhaps it is only a chance occurrence.

I can. Geforce 4 Ti 4200, 128MB. 45.23 drivers, I think.

So it was merely a chance occurrence, as Geforce are /were the most used graphic cards. Even with the latest drivers, it is not working for me. But perhaps it is because my computer itself is too slow. (700 mhz, not fast nowadays, with Windows XP and common components)
