Normally when you get a BSOD after installing a game or program its because your drives are way out of date. In this case it could have been caused by Direct X drivers being out dated.

Graphics Card & memory
Sound Card

It would seem your problem is that you're using WinMe.
Seriously, if your directX is up to date then I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe someone who has WinMe and can Star Fury fine could help out by posting their information. Also, be sure to e-mail MM about your problem too...
Update all of your divers, and I do mean all of them. Especially your Direct X and GeForce card. Also do the same for your soundbLaster.
I would also send your specs and a detailed description of what happened to Malfador. Aaron is very good at using this kind of information to make his games better.
