Not in the stock game, no. Its entirely possible to change it through events though (er. I think, haven't verified that event works)

You said everyone is using the Miranda class? Perhaps they think you're firing on their allies because the allies and enemies use the same ship...

I've got the Miranda class for sale, two variants. The terrans have two variants (A and B, Trader and attack cruiser) and the pirates have one. They're all defined seperately but the Terran B and the Pirate miranda share a component configuration layout.
They all share the same spaceobject entry.

How exactly do you add the ship into the game anyway. I d/l the mod and copied the files to the directories.
I've also added the Components line thing... but How do I put where it sells...
