Ship Maneuvers

I'd like to have ship to ship communications. Nothing fancy. Similar to the going to planet thing. When you get close enough to your target you get a green button that says Hail or comm or something like that. Then you press it and the game pauses and a pop-up window appears. The window could be like the site window with the ShipPortraitProfile_image.bmp as the site image. As options there could be something like rumors, trade cargo etc. that sort of thing. Rumors could be loaded from a rumors.txt which in layout could be similar to the events.txt

I think that wouldn't be so hard to do. And of course if the ship is enemy it can refuse to talk to you. Oh and also it would be nice if you could buy yourself out of crimes so to speak. Like when you're a hunted pirate you can go to terran planet and pay money. And then the officials will let you alone.

But most of all I miss the ability to talk to other ships.
