Demo?

I'm just guessing on the demo but I think they'll want to wait and build it off the same final gold code, so it'll probably come out around the time of the new gold date. That's certainly nothing official - just one editing parrot's best guess.

Hrm they should release a trailer at least, about the major parts of the game...at least 2 weeks before the official release.

Ah nop, a trailer is like a rolling demo. You know...the devs are playing with the game, and they are making a little preview movie about it, to heat up the fans!

So…the game is going gold on Oct. 10 or so, and orders are expected to be shipped Oct. 30…? Does that mean that the demo will be available sometime around Oct. 10 - 3 weeks before we're likely to have the full game in our hands? Can anyone tell me if this is roughly right?

I do understand if you can't say, but it would be nice to know - a lot of people waiting expectantly here

Personally, I'd like to have a demo before I pre-order the game. I like to know what I'm getting
Not that I'm going to refuse to buy the game if you dont make a demo or something. Also the demo help convice people dominions is good, because it's much harder to convince people to buy games without demos, and showing people the dominions 1 demo and then saying "...but dominions 2 should fix that..." probably doesnt convince them as much.
Plus it would be funny to see the forum go silent for a while and then have a lot of excited Posts afterwards
