Golden Demos and such...

The final Gold load is being tested on as we speak (I believe so, but hey there are so many things going on right now it's crazy

). As soon as it is certified (which means we receive the CD and certify it) we will begin the process to testing the final Gold demo. The demo must be tested, after the game goes gold, before we'll release it to the public. At the rate things have been going I expect that we will release a demo prior to the game shipping. I can't give you an exact date as of yet.

Than I won't even download the demo since I ordered the game...lol

I think you misunderstood something Mortifer... the demo should be available before the game ships, so you'd have it for a while anyway before the real thing shows up on your doorstep.

I'm just hoping to hear an official announcement late this week about it all... just wanted to jumpstart everyones anticipation though

Heh, no problem there, just glad to clear that up for you, so you can get excited about DomII multiple times...

First when they announce its gone gold
Second when they announce the demo is gold
Third when they put the demo up for DL
Fourth when you finish DLing it
Fifth when you start playing the demo
Sixth when they announce that the full Version is shipping
Seventh when you see that your copy has shipped
Eighth when you see that your copy has arrived at your local UPS (or other) drop
Ninth when you get the package
Tenth when you open the package
Eleventh when you insall the game
Twelveth ....

As you can see missing the demo would put a big dent in this plan

yeah....at least an update.....to let us know that the game is on schedule....
