Yeah I think that we have a nice SP + MP community here.

I myself prefer the SP, but this not means that I wont play multi.

I think, that 17 nations are enough, more = better anyways.

Im not sure how far the scripting and such will make allowances. I have people waiting for a Halfling Nation, and a Dragon Nation, and a Werewolf Nation, things like that. It might end up just being a bunch of provinces with pre-selected commanders, magics, items, sites. Or maybe a complete rewrite of one of the less used nations.

Funny... I have an idea for a "Skinshifter Kings" theme for Vanheim...
And what are the less used nations?

You can make those with the upcoming mod tools.

Ive done a couple (for myself, I really should post them) where Ive given Man ownership of provinces all over the map, then removed their god and special units. They became a PAIN (Paramilitary Alliance of Independent Nations)
or maybe (Parliament of Atheistic Independent Nations). On others Ive used Pangaea or Jotunheim. Ermor is overdone I think as a theme subject.

For the Were's I was thinking of some race that can have the ***** Queen as a pretender (just Man?) then having them start with the thing that gives free Call of the Wild, alot of those lycanthropy amulets, multiple provinces with packs of werewolves already there that have high XP. I havent looked at which sites but at least some that give lots of nature gems. If I used a race such as Jotunheim then maybe give each province a ***** Queen. Give them labs but no castles.

Yup, true.

Anyways this is a very interesting poll, check out some results so far.:

what is your prefered size (I'm speaking of maps...) ?
the bigger the better, lets smoke doms II engine 24% (6)

Do you like them (the maps) full of specials ?
all provinces should be fully scripted 28% (7)

when you do the thing (playing a map), how many is too much for you to handle?
at least 18 races, so I play rarely you see 40% (10)

Do you indulge yourself in doing the thing (playing doms) alone?
I always play alone with AI only 40% (10)

Very interesting...

The ***** Queen is available for other nations as well. I can't remember all of them right now, but I know I've also played with her as the god of Vanheim.
