Should re-run this poll a month or so after the game ships  . Would make an interesting contrast to what people think they need, versus what people actually get.
Of course, beta testers excepted  .

No entry for "Game balance"??? If there's anything I want the devs to focus on, it has to be balancing nations, units, spells and whatnot.

If you wanted to try a new poll you might even break down the AI abit. Most probably meant the AI of the opponents to make them harder.
Id like to see variation in the AI's to make them less predicatable. Playing against Ermor as a barbarian horde would be very different than if next game he played as defensive and slow-expansion. Same with builder, or tank commander, or diplomatic, or sneak-around-the-back modes.
Scripting AI opponents would be good also so that Jasper might write up a Version of his own favorite tactics so we can practice against him.
I also am disappointed that the AI for map management has been downgraded. This is kindof a high-end user thing but I sure wouldnt mind some time put into the AI of the host so that it would logically fill in the blanks on any .map file. It was a safety feature for playing with .map generators.
For that matter Id like to have seen "host features" listed on the poll.
