I understand the uncertainty, but it would be nice to know if we can expect the demo this week/in the next couple of days, or not until next week (or even later).

I mean, will the demo definitely come out after the Gold announcement later this week? Are people way off for thinking it will be out in the next couple of days?

This would be nice to know - please speak to when the demo will arrive specifically.

i could swear that i read somewhere that the demo was expected on the 17th, but sadly, the 17th has come and gone....

Actually I believe the statement you're thinking about was that the demo would probably come out between the 17th and the end of the month - so we're still within range.
