True enough but I understand why they might be missing abit now. This isnt their job. They have jobs, and lives, and then they also program a game.
On the other side, from the experience we had with Dom 1 I will kindof be expecting them to be very active here once the game is released. One of the things I loved about Dom 1 is that there were alot of patches, each one full of lots of goodies but only one bug-fix that I can remember. The rest was all from the conversations we had in the newsgroup.

Re: lab vault upgraded?
Yes, I've seen the patch history for Doms I and it showed they were making a lot of nice improvements.
I tend to have a lot of patience, and I'm also well behind many Doms I fans in that I still have plenty to learn about Doms I, so I'm not dying of rabid anticipation for Doms II or any particular feature improvements that haven't already been mentioned.

Well thats going to be a problem. Illwinter is a bunch of guys who make a game for fun. Programmers swamped by our ideas.
On the other hand Shrapnel is the company they hired to take care of things they were swamped by such as public relations. So its understanding that Illwinter hasnt gotten around to reading all this stuff and answering (using the word "ignore" seems abit much). Now if Shrapnel didnt answer, that would be something to complain about. There in lies the rub. Illwinter doesn't have time to read and respond to everything, and yet many questions can only be answered directly by them, i.e. things involving future development plans.
I try to read as much as I can and answer what I know, but I don't work for either company and have a rather limited amount of information.
Richard does a good job, IMHO, of answering the questions he can when he can. Since he does about 10,000 different things, it sometimes takes a bit of time before he can get back to the Boards, but AFAIK he's always answered the Shrapnel-orientated questions sooner or later.
I think Illwinter is especially generous with their time, especially considering how most developers never become more than names in the credits to their players. They do listen to player requests and have added or have announced plans to add many things based on user feedback. I hope they will continue to want to come around here despite the occasional outbreaks of crankiness.

It's nice to have the support of #18

I still think the finding items problem can be solved in better ways than a search function. The demo will be out soon which should make it way easier to make some informed suggestions!
