Id have no problem with the admins here pinning something to the top.
But doing it do to activity didnt make sense to me (dont they go to the top anyway for activity?) and doing it for a Users request since we all would request to have our Posts pinned (I cheat now, I repost to mine so that the activity moves it up) polls with new votes are not considered having received a new activity as of now.

Like Gandalf, I said "no" but only because of the wording. The "yes" choice said "based on their activity and/or user request." Like cpbeller and others mentioned, I don't mind pinned threads, but they should be ones that make sense based on content rather than activity. Activity naturally brings threads to the top anyway.

I vote for yes, threads like modding should be pinned. [In the future at least, since we dont have Doms II. and the mod tools in our hands yet.  ]
