Other effects of Luck Domain

Out of curiosity I have started two new pretenders with more of a focus in the luck domain (+2). Now I have nothing to substantiate this, but it seemed that the pretenders with the luck domain tended to find magic sites that were better than the norm, Dragon Mountain (can recruit Draconians), Order of the Magi (two decent mages the more powerful being fire 2, astral 2, earth 1 the lesser 1 of each), Temple of the War God (high preist, fire adept, Fire Lord). The Fire Lords were interesting a knight leader with 2 fire magic. Has anyone had similar observations or do the modders/developers have more specific insights?
