Funny you mention ythe old AH game "Magic Realm"
I happen to have one (in the basement since ages..), if anyone is interested
I found the game intensely interesting. If I ever again teach a programming class, especially a gaming programming class, I will bring one in. The good parts of the game are great, and the bad parts (the long setup time) simply scream to have the game converted to computers.

Mostly I was thinking of being sneaky and sending Kristoffer a Christmas gift that would slip in some game to his repertoire that was successfully doing things we would like to see incorporated into Dominions.

But i think Kristoffer has MTW.

I'd bet a sack full of Astral Gems that Kristoffer has played MoM - there are already a number of things I'd consider "tributes" in Dominions.

The hard part is that even if we did figure this out then we have to figure out what to get Johan. He always seemed to me to be to be deeper tech than Kristoffer. Considering his programming headaches I would think he would be a prime candidate for a nice vacation package.

Nahh I cant afford that. What is it you get the stressed programmer? Nerf weapons? Yeah, thats it. Do they make nerf swords?

With three players, it takes 8 minutes to set up everything, if properly organized. Okay, it takes about ten minutes after the game to organize everything again, but apart from that... (That's including spells. Yes, we play it alot. )

Uh... never mind my random comments here. All I know is that there was a project dedicated to making Magic Realm pbem, but they never got over the map creator.... that's five years in the past now.
