Re: Anyone up for a game of Dom II?
I'd like in
Whether we play hosted/email is irrelevant, and in fact, if we can't find someone who can/will set up a server, I'd be willing to do email hosting, tedious as that would be. I'd like to play Vanheim.
Got the game today, and just finished the 1st 30 turns of a test game; so thought I'd come up for air, check the Boards, and hope to find exactly this sort of thread
I might even take Zen up on that midnight special...

Re: Anyone up for a game of Dom II?
As a warmup for the midnight game, anyone want a quick, quick one? Very quick turns (5 minutes at first, variable later depending on the mood), more to goof around then actually win.
Anyone who wants in can suggest settings - I am game for anything. Would like to start by 9 PM EST, but we'll see.

Geo: count me in.
As for settings, I've only had the game for a few hours, (I'm on dial-up, so the demo was out of the question) so I don't have suggestions on that score.

Re: Anyone up for a game of Dom II?
Truper - jump in - you'll get first dibs on race!
I closed Atlantis and R'lyeh, though can open them if someone really wants and we can get both sides played. Kind of lopsided with only one of them...
Thinking "Sundering" map might be best, but will depend on number of players. Since it's quick and small, high resources and magic might be nice, but if anyone wants something different I am fickle so say the word.
Get them pretenders in! I am leaning towards C'tis, but Van, Caelum and evil Marignon are tempting too. I'll choose Last from them...

OK, I'm in, and I took Vanheim. What's supposed to happen after I select which race to play? The select nation screen is still up, tho Vanheim now says it's human controlled.

Truper:
You are all set - I'll start it up in 20 minutes (unless someone else needs a couple more minutes).
You (or anyone) can email me for whatever. If we get a couple of people in, when the game starts I'll spawn a thread on the board for the game for the MP game so we can all laugh at how bad we suck

Re: Anyone up for a game of Dom II?
Game has started!
Map is Sundering, Indies 5, Magic 70, High Resources.
Game is quickhost, so when you submit your turn the next one goes (assuming I am done too!). This is going to be small and fast, so I will be sure to say hi to you soon. I imagine I will be seeing Truper's sailing attack armies shortly
