Actually I see where Joonie is coming from. I dislike playing death and blood theamed nations myself (though I am playing C'tis in a PBEM right now). Its just a personal thing, I'd rather play a 'builder' type race than a 'destroyer' one. Though the lines in Dom get blurred rather quickly so its not as big of an issue as it can be in other games.

) In fact the default name for any fantasy sports team I play is the French Inqusition (in honor of my daughter) and we don't have to cheat to win
