Demo - Can't get 1600 * 1200 resolution

That's a problem with the game. A bug slipped through that has the highest resolution permanently greyed out. You can get around it by specifying this switch --res 1600 1200 or whatever resolution you want.

I wonder how one can spot a Hoburg warrior in 1600*1200, even with a 25" monitor ...

Actually higher res means you can spot smaller things. Just zoom in.
