No, unless you keep copies of the .trn files. But the enemy pretender's death does not make you win - you'd have to give a more specific message. Reasons include:
1) His dominion drops to 0.
2) His provinces drop to 0 (if he has a castle, it is "his" province as far as winning goes).
That's it. Probably 1. But as to why he could have died (which are not important):
1) You gave him a disease, and his HP drop 1/turn, and he died.
2) Indy invasion (Vinemen, barbarians, etc).
