Re: How old are Dom2 players?
Wow... Re: How old are Dom2 players?
Since someone brought up the C64, does anyone beside me remember Tunnels of Doom on the TI 99/4A? It was a great RPG game with strong elements of strat and tactics. It was also what started me on the strat and RPG games.

Re: How old are Dom2 players?
For what it's worth, I'm in the plurality bracket (27% at 25-29) but have been gaming since kindergarten on our old Apple II+ and with the D&D red boxed set. The oldest games I remember loving? Chivalry, Aztec, Choplifter, and Karateka.
Good times.

Re: How old are Dom2 players?
I played MUD games Online before there were PC's or Internet (thats really my picture there).
My first computer was a C64 and that was after I graduated, was in the military, and married.

X-COM I and II(Duh )
---------------
Master of Monsters(sega genesis only so get an emulator)
---------------
Panzer General(Invading Washington D.C. was interesting.)

Like to thank the mention of War of the Lance. I had totally forgotten that game. It was awesome at the time.

I'm 26 years old. My first experience with Strategi games was on commodore 64 with the legendary game 'Defender of the Crown' . *all hail Defender of the crown*

Re: How old are Dom2 players?
29, almost thirty.
I too remember playing Empire on my PC, but it was text X and Os moving across a landscape.
Also played Zork and Sword of Glass.
Then the light broke through and we got Bard's Tale I...
When we got Hercules (4 color) graphics), we were the bomb on the street
