Thanks everyone...But I think its on own goal

I put my tax rate to 200% and patrolled heavily to keep the unrest down, it seemed a good idea at the time.

So yes I discovered the down side, people killed by patrolling unsettled provinces come of the population? Well I think that�s what was happening.

Can anyone confirm this?
