Desert Tombs isn't really hell on intruders. You're thinking about about Miasma, which diseases anything that isn't cold-blooded.
Right you are. I was thinking of the "aarrrghhhhh-my-troops-are-diseased-and-dropping-in-front-of-my-very-eyes" feeling of Miasma.
