AI Space Ork --- needs ship set
I'm about 1/4 done with a Space Ork AI. I'd make a ship set myself, but I'm focused on a ship set for another race at the moment. If anyone wants to make some cool Orky ships that'd be great. I'm not necessarily looking for anything that looks like W40K Orks, just something that looks Orky.

Re: AI Space Ork --- needs ship set
They're not exactly what I'm looking for. I expected Ork ships to look a little more junky.

Re: AI Space Ork --- needs ship set
dogscoff -
The referance if to Games Workshop Warhammer 40K and Battle Fleet Gothic Space Orks. They are a agoid/humanoid symbiote that grows similar to some reptiles in that they just keep getting bigger until they die. It is believed that they were genetically engineered/bred by a race of 'super-snots' a very small related humanoid that got really smart by eating some really good mushrooms. The orks were too big and unruly, so they ended up eating all the mushrooms themselves, and with the 'super-snots' intelligence falling, the snots got pushed around and became lowly slaves/servants. The Orks' genitics have a large amount of thier knowledge of weapons and technology hard-coded into thier DNA, and have a very violent disposition. Orks also have a latent psychic ability that normally manifests itself in aiding thier various weapons to work, where study of those weapons by other races has shown that by normal understanding of physics the weapons should be unoperable. Orks tend to get more violent based on thier numbers, eventually resulting in whats called a WAAAAGHHHH!!!!!, esentially a mass crusade that they don't care if they win or die because either way its fun.
-short simplified synopsis, Check out Games Workshops website for more about them.

Re: AI Space Ork --- needs ship set
Hehe - thanks, Atraikus. It's been a good 15 years since i Last dabbled in Warhammr (40K / space marines etc were new when I Last played) but thanks for the entertaining synopsis.
I was just enjoying the new words being invented=-)
Tell me, is Blood Bowl still around, or has that died / gotten way too complicated / bn forgotten about? Used to love that game...

Re: AI Space Ork --- needs ship set
Blood Bowl is still alive, like a lot of the
other "minor" sons of GW. there is a
semiofficial breanch of GW (the king of that is Jervin Jonson) that still produce new stuffs for Blood bowl, Epic 40K, Necromunda,
Warhammer Quest and so on ...
bye bye and good luck
