Is Transformation *ever* really worthwhile? In an experimental game, I had 5 or 6 nature-3 mages cast it, and the results were never beneficial. Even if I had just used nature-1 mages boosted with items, it wouldn't have been worthwhile. Why would anyone ever use it?
I think it's worthwhile - often you trade in a simple human with 10 hp and get a rather tougher beast which is much more resilient in combat. So you're not going to get a SC, but if that isn't your expectation you'll probably be pleasantly surprsised. |
