Assassination limit?
Is there a limit of the number of commanders that can be assassinated in one province during one turn? Or is the there a chance that an assassin present in a province with enemy commanders will not assassinate any commanders at all when given the command "assassinate"? I ask because I often do not carry out the command given despite there being commanders present in that province.
thanks in advance

Re: Assassination limit?
I think there is a "chance" they will be able to
assassinate but it is not always 100%... Like everyingthing in the game there is dice rolled..

Re: Assassination limit?
Well I suppose assassins should know if there's a potential victim, in a month of tracking movement of the army inside the province he should know that. How many commanders since the first month ...

Re: Assassination limit?
Does this only happen when you have multiple assassins attempting to assassinate in the same province? If that's the case I would imagine that each assassin randomly picks a commander at the start of each turn and if 2 or more pick the same one and the assassination is successful, the others would just doing nothing. I'd think that's just fine in an RP sense; your assassins might not all be aware of each other so mission conflicts arise, or perhaps the other commanders in the province were too well defended to get to that turn and the mission had to be aborted.

Re: Assassination limit?
Are you sure they're not province defense commanders? Those are immune to assassination, after all.

Re: Assassination limit?
AFAIK the only time assassins don't assassinate is when there is no (more) commanders in the province. But Prov Def commanders aren't killable this way.

Re: Assassination limit?
I think that I've had a scout attack an independent province and seen that there were two commanders. Then I assassinated two commanders, attacked, and had an enemy commander present. That ever happen to anyone else?
