D&D Forgotten Realms map?

Hmmm... While I can not find a copy of the new map there's bound to be something usable in the 2nd edition books. However the one I found was of such poor quality that it could not be turned into a working Dominions 2 map. Hopefully you will have better luck than me. Finding an image that's large enough can be a bother though.

You haven't by any chance contacted WotC and asked them nicely? While they are understandably hard on scans, and other material from their products, appearing for free they seem to have a policy of supplying images from their products at a regular basis. Since Faeruns map is already well known they might even have a highresolution image around that you can use. At the very least you'll know what their opinion is on the subject.
