Bugs?

Is the allegenice Subverter suppose to convert Master computer I?
My fleet compose of Dreads(4) are defeated by 2 dreads, 1 cruiser, and 2 Light cruiser.
My dreads have 2 NullsIII(Heavy mount), 2 Phased polaron beamV,2 Crystallie Tropand 6 pd. It have no Crew as all of them uses Master Computer I.
While the enemy fleet have only allegenice Subverter as weapons.
But, My dreads are converted!
How can this be possible? Is it a bug?

Check the enemy ships if they have computer virus to destroy the master computer first. Once its gone the allegience subverter will work! And if it were the CueCappa that did this to you, I am responsible!

They have 2 tele projector, 2 subverter and 2 pd. No computer virus listed as a weapon. Does the computer virus appear on the weapon list during tatical combat?
Is there anyone who experienced this?
Is this a bug?
Please help.

I don't think this is a bug. Probably the master computer was destroyed with the conventional damage weapons (telekinetic projectors) and then as I said the allegience subverter will be effective.
The computer virus will be shown as any other weapon of the ships.
Yes I saw the conVersion of master computer equipped ships. In fact that was one of the main AI modifications I made for the CueCappa.
Therefore my question: which race and which AI did this?

It was one of the older race (abbidon) with no AI update. I'm playing on the 1.35 patch. The only new race is the Rage.
I have 5 crystallie armour III, and 4 phased-shield gen V.

If your master computers were intact, and you never had crew aboard, I would consider that a bug.

Send in a before and after savegame, showing the captured ships with intact computers.
