AI difficulty is kind of irrelevant: There are no AIs in multiplayer, except players that go AI, or some bizarre game where somebody would want AIs in the game...but why?

It's possible, but no-one does it. The AI is OK, but it can't compete with humans. So having them in multiplayer is just like handing an advantage to the lucky sods that get to start near them.

I agree. But there is no reason to have Capitals count as VPs, in fact, I much prefer random VPs added, or standard ones built-in (such as on Orania). I think this has a nice feel, and opens up the game for the more stealthy nations to plan sneak attacks on the important points.

Napoleon, how are the players being ranked in MP games ?? Is is just the winner, or are there mechanisms being put in place to reward players who hang in there.
Will joint victories be permitted ?
