Custom Ships/Races

Anyone know where to find a place that you can make custom ship sets at? or how to make them?

I think this has been mentioned somewhere else.

I know there is something out there called poray and movay, which create wire 3d objects. I tried it for 30 minutes once and came up with zilch. I recently did my first race, and for the ship set, I just used the CueCappa ships. I have Paint Shop Pro 5, but I think even the budget paint program on all computers can can handle the .bmps. I opened up every ship and turned all the purple in the CueCappa ships to Blue. It's time consuming, but hey, what else do we have to do in this world. The race pic I stole from some other race. The one that looks human wearing a military uniform. I just painted his uniform blue too.

I'd like to do some original art, but don't have the talent or time on top of spending all my free time playing.
