Problems with Cardassians and Ferengi

This actually could be another problem entirely (if what Gruel says dosn't work that is). Make sure the name of the race folder (ex Cardassian) is the same as the files inside the folder. If the main folder is labeled Cardassian and the files inside are Card_mini_portrait etc it will not work/load the race. Just change the name of the folder to match the files within.

I use the same races that I have set up for download. They are what I play, and I have not experienced this problem. To be on the safe side, I rechecked all of the files for errors, and did not see any. I do not understand what could be causing the problem.

However, the actual file that the Cardassian race is located in HAS TO BE NAMED the same as the FILES WITHIN IT. IE, I named the Cardassians "Card". All of the files in the Card Race folder start with Card. The same for the Ferengi, I named them Ferg. So the race folder containing them should also be named FERG. I think this is what is causing your problem. I renamed the race files to the full names, and I GET your error. Rename the actual folder to the name that the files within it are called. Again, thats "Card" or "Ferg". This should fix your problem.

On the other hand, you could rename all the files to Cardassian_Portrait etc, or Ferengi_Mini_cruiser etc. But that would take way too much time. So just rename the folder.
