Re: Unequipable Armor?
This must have been changed with the recent patch because I know I have equipped the monolith armor on knights before.

Heh. But that's kind of the point of mounted commanders - they can wear heavy armor and still effectively do battle.
Spell casting on the other paw gets kinda hard - which means you aren't going to have your commanders doing 5 buff spells while wearing Monolith without taking a nap.
Seems like a bug maybe?

Well it was working in previous Versions... haven't tested it recently.

Re: Unequipable Armor?
I seem to recall that the descriptions for the Monolith Armor and the Stymphalian Wings both refer to the weight of the armor and the armor itself magically boosting the wearer's strength so that he can actually use it. It didn't say anything about helping out the poor mount, however...

Re: Unequipable Armor?
With the wings the knight would have to lift the mount with his leggs.

And this is a problem, for someone who intends to be a God? Why, he could probably lift the horse with his [censored].
With his tongue. Wanna be gods have to have almost as much exercise for their tongues as used car salesmen and politicians.

That's what I was thinking... the squashed horse issue. However I thought I was able to do so, but the only time I tried was in the original Dominions, not Doms 2.
