Re: Seduce - Corrupt
It depends on the target because they get both a morale check and a magic resistance check.
From the above, I expect if you were going after completely boring folks with 10 morale and 10 MR, you'd only seduce 1/4 of the time.
Seems to me it is fairly rare that they seduce... maybe one in six or so, or less, depending on the victims.
However, I really like succubi, because:
* It's fun when it does happen.
* Sometimes you get someone great - e.g., a Caelum wizard really fills in gaps in Mictlan's spellcasters!
* Especially with items, the succubus generally wipes out whoever the target is.
* In an MP game, I'm sure it would induce some nice panic many human players, just to know a succubus is stalking their guys!

It seems to work more often than that.

Re: Seduce - Corrupt
Succubi are nice to have, but I wouldn't send one out without good equipment. If seduction fails, which it does fairly often, then it's one of those fights in which one must win or die -- and a succubus has no magic, weak attacks if memory serves, and low prot. That can quickly cost 45 blood slaves... two of them cost more than an Ice Devil.
The lack of torso slot is problematic. A Wraith Crown will greatly improve survivability against mundanes, but is expensive. Empowering with Earth magic would help even more against most, but would be even more expensive. Going pure-offense, e.g. might actually be easier.
[Edit: pure-offense as in, say, Phoenix Rod + Boots of Quickness, or Spirit Helm]

Re: Seduce - Corrupt
Teraswaerto, whom have you been seducing? I'm pretty sure mine haven't done better than 1/4, but against C'tis, Caelum, and Pythium.
On the other hand, the only combat loss I've experienced with a succubus was losing an arm to Smite Demon from a Pythian Arch Theurg Prophet, which was well worth it, because he was the one who had been casting global lightning spells (wrath of god or some such).
Items for luck, high defense and offense (and/or possibly MR) seem to be plenty to keep the succubus alive in most cases, since she is rather strong and skilled and can just fly in and hack on her first turn.

Re: Seduce - Corrupt
Personally when I'm playing with a Blood friendly nation I will make at the very least 1 Succubus.
They don't have much as far as starting abilities, but this leaves you with alot of options since they have the most important (Flying).
The Succubus is usually the only Assassin I equip, and I use its role as an assassin.
Primary Targets include "Indy Provines" aiming for Druids/Amazons/Enchantresses/Sages/Initiates of the Order and Ferry Commanders.
I am actually more let down if I actually seduce Commanders because it usually means a 1-4 Turn waste of moving back into position.
Edit: If I have lots of blood and my assasinations are being effective, I will be cheezy and put a Black Heart on Vampire Counts/Lords and do massinations.

Against various mages success seemed to be common enough to suggest that against 10 morale/10 mr commanders it would more than 1/4, but this is just an impression.
Lifelong Protection is IMO the perfect item to give to a Succubus.

Sets of 100 Succubi are ~55/45 against standard commanders. I'm betting it's the standard skill 11 against 10 MR. Rune Smashers, Spell Foci, and Cat Charms don't seem to have any effect.
So it's more then just an impression.
Oh yeah - the commanders seem to win 1/50 of the battles when the do resist and with survival odds like that you have to be proud of the ones who stand firm!
