OT: Oh My God....Battle for Middle Earth

I just watched the E3 demo of this game....WOW.....I am thinking that I am going to have to get this game....

does anyone know why the message Boards are not up (yet) over at ea games for Battle of Middle Earth?

Well, really cannot wait for this one....

The obvious answer is that there's no message board up for it because the game doesn't exist yet. Games do not exist until such time as they have actually been completed, or are stolen by hackers. Place no stock in "demos" and other such vaporware tactics.

alot of games have forums several months before the release though, that was the point i was trying to make.

And, the game looks real good

They just arent as good as we are. We've had forums up years ahead of release.

So people can whine even before the game is out? Sheesh. That's a perfectly good reason not to have a forum up until the game's good and ready.

I do not whine. While I express the fact that I am annoyed or displeased, I do not request that anything be done about it. This is for several reasons: Firstly, because I know you won't actually do it without at least a good portion of the forum whining loudly and shrilly about the matter. Secondly, because there is nothing I actually expect to see, or want to be, done. You will find me most satisfied when you announce that whatever patch you are doing is the Last one. It's not whining when you don't want anything done at all.

The clams have not been changed, neither has the castling or the luck scales, as I pointed out to you in another thread changes are not made just because the general level of complaints reach a certain pitch, changes are made because they appear to make sense or add to the game in some way. I also find it a little odd that you complain about no new content in the Last patch, as you did in another thread, and then goes on to complain about there being patches at all. If you are satisfied with the game as it is why complain about the lack of content in patches?
