Mictlan doesn't have access to a ring of sorcery unless you have put astral magic on your pretender, or have empowered a moon priest. Even so, the spells are hardly worth it.

Or get the S3 hero Quetzalcoatl or trade or find an indy mage to make you a crystal coin. By the time you get to Blood 9 there are a lot of possibilities. I wouldn't base a strategy around it, but the ring of sorcery is really nice anyway. 9 Blood isn't the most useful high-end magic though.
