i usually use province defense to stop those independent misfortune attacks, doesnt stop all of them but it stops a good amount of them

hm i see an enemy dominion beyond me . only 2 provinces away .
hopefully this doesn't draw me in an early war .
the problem is if my dominion really spreads in someones provinces i don't want this myself but that would be not so nice . it's evil for every living race but especially for ulm and abysia in the early game .

Well negative dominions kind of make it hard to be diplomatic because the other nations will want to kill you as fast as possible so their provinces arent ruined and also your current provinces are crap to them if they let you stay using them. I cant picture ermor with allies because they harm everyone.

so for saturday...any conflicts to do a possible blitzing at like 20:00 - 21:00 gmt, i give the range bec you know everyone will be late

as long as you keep my dominion out which is not so hard in general it doesn't hurt you.
the only problem is if you start only 3 provinces away from ermor because ermor has normally a bit higher starting domain than everyone else.

my direct neighbors are crap for everyone else exept me and pan CW because 15 turns under the influence of my dominion are enough to almost totally depopulate them even without conquering them . so ~ 10-15 provinces directly neighboring me or only 2 provinces away will most likely be depopulated by turn 15-20 almost always.
but after this my dominion will not expand much more if i don't push it via temples and this is only a latergame option for me if i don't get gold from someone else or via lucky events .

but i don't see why ermor always needs to be attacked asap .
my almost total 1 dimensionality to death is even easier to beat mid-late game than early game since earlygame at least your troops will starve .

Pillaging provinces for gold can get you a good amount for temples also. And about attacking ermor the sooner the better is because the longer your dominion is running in your land when it is taken over the land is kind of worthless to any living nation.
