I got off to a bad start. One of my mistakes was overreliance on archers. Also as I believe you guessed Aku I did do a attack on the first turn and lost most of my archers. however I did not actually intend to win that attack but instead do a hit and run. However I had my archers were there one turn too long apparently and the barbarians I attacked took most of my archers out. I then encountered Pickles we made a treaty but it ended when Pickles thought I had cast seeking arrow on him. I am willing to bet that Klatu was responsible considering he was the only other nation in the game other than me with strong air magic. When the treatie ended Pickles came in and crushed the poor excuse of an army I had.
