Re: Demo problem
I'm just one more person that encountered that 'Stop' error running XP. But I found a bigger bug/eyesore,.. I e-mailed derek with a simple fix. weather or not he will use it is another thing.
What's the bug/eyesore? Shhhhhh it's a secret and I'm sure not going to let the cat out of the bag, the fact is, only a dweeb like me would ever notice it, so you'll only find out if Derek uses my 'eye-patch'
Cheers!

Re: Demo problem
I sure will, David! Thanks for patching the "eye-sore". I'll be using it for the full Version. Thanks for your very cool contribution!
<deliberately skipping over the 'dweeb' reference, though gosh, it would take one to notice it!>

Re: Demo problem
As far as the updated demo, will another demo come out, or will there just be a patch?

Re: Demo problem
Another demo will come out....in fact it's already out! How that's for quick?
Just go to the download page and download it again (uninstall the previous demo using the Start-All Programs menu option). Should work ok.
Thanks!
(PS And thanks again to David Gervais for even more ideas he sent just now. I should have him on the payroll! )

Re: Demo problem
You're welcome Derek. Like I said, it was fun. I'm just doing my best to klimb the fame meter a few pixels at a time.
Cheers!
P.S. about more contributions, check out my avatar emporium, most of the avatars are available for use in these forums. Just be sure to respect the 'Reserved' avatars. Everything else is fair game.
Have fun people.

Re: Demo problem
Not exactly a problem, but when I run the Demo on my W2K machine, it doesn't create any 'active program' item on the task bar, and I can't find it when I 'Alt-Tab'.
Could be just this machine, but might need someone else to confirm.

From what i've heard, it works on some systems and doesn't work on others. Works ok on mine, but a few others have reported what you saw (Win XP Home, with latest patches, here).
I may include something in a patch to make the program more friendly to "minimizing" this way.
