Heh...

Ed Kolis' observation that they look 'eclipsed' is based on the contrast between the body of the star and the corona around it. You need to make the star as bright as its corona. If that washes out the detail then you need to make the corona as dim as the star. We know that stars are very bright, but a point of light isn't interesting in a game. We'll just have to assume a convention that stars are always seen through the proper filters.

Well now that you guys mention it, yeah. It really looks like the light is coming from behind the "sun". Well thats pretty stupid. Then again i really like the suns, and since its my mod i guess i will stick with them anyway

The problem is if i brighten the "star" up, then it wont look half as cool imho

'Eclipsed' laf, you guys are funny. If it were 'eclipsed' the center orb would be completely black. It actually it looks like you are viewing the suns using proper 'solar' filters that prevent you from going blind. The swirl patterns are the visual effects of seeing solar flares.

At least that's the way I see it.

Cheers!
