Default Levels Greater than 10?

Sorry if this has been posted previously, but the search function displaying every post in a thread combined with slow board perf (at least for me), is killing search this morning.

I'm wondering if magic path levels can be raised above 10 (via items, communion or empowerment), and if so will this have any affect on magic duel or fatigue calculations.

TIA,

Thufir

They can be raised over 10 through empowerment or items, and the various battlefield only effects. They can't be raised over 10 through wish. These higher levels have the normal effects on magic duel, fatigue and penetration bonus.

Excellent - that's exactly what I needed to know, Graeme. Thanks for the precise answer.

for some things this is especially useful .
e.g. you get + 2 living statues per each path above the requirements .

most spells are xx+ damage too .
the + means they make additional damage when above the requirements .
johan once said that it is for most firespells +2 / lvl and +1 / lvl for most lightning spells .

Would a Level_11 earth mage be more resistant to seduce and hellbind heart when compared to a Level_3 earth mage??

I believe not. AFAIK they will only be more resistant to damage and wind ride.
