Hey All, there is a new ptch 2.13. Should we upgrade? It says if you are in multiplayer game, all should upgrade.

I suggest we stay 2.12 going by what Sheap posted in his server thread since he is hosting a lot of games:

In general: As of now the Linux patch is not working at all, this prevents me from upgrading just yet. Once the Linux patch is fixed, it will be up to the organizer of the game whether to update that game to 2.13 or keep it at 2.12. I can run some games on 2.12, and others 2.13, so not everyone has to upgrade at once.

It seems there is a fairly serious bug in 2.13 causing crashes with various artifacts. Until the scope of this bug is determined, and either fixed or workarounds discovered, I'm going to recommend against using the new patch, but the final decision is up to the players.

Anyone that upgrades to 2.13 will still be able to play on 2.12 servers, but the battle replays will be wrong. Not sure if the reverse is true or not, it probably is.

pasha when you are in holiday will you be able to spend 5 minutes / day for a quick turn ?
i guess about 15-30 september our new game will start since we are now coming to an end slowly but surely .
it is just an estimation from me though depends mainly on aku hehe .

While I am away, I will not have access to a computer. I don't want to worry about taking my beloved laptop on the plane, etc. I will be away from Sept. 24 - October 5.
