Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
Well, that's was FIELD hockey. We're talking about real hockey or ICE hockey as you'd probably call it.

Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
What you call field hockey we call hockey. What you call hockey, we call Ice hockey. Since the Olympics calls it Hockey I put forward the supposition that it is Ice Hockey fans who have it wrong. . But its hardly worth arguing about. Just be glad we're not talking about Football, which can mean 4 different games to my knowledge.

Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
Yes, the confusion between Ice fotball and regular fotball is way to common!
I don't know what the americans do when they play that game called soccer, we prefer to play fotball!

Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
When americans play soccer, wait we don't play soccer, we play football. But when we see other people playing soccer we think to ourselves "play a real sport where you can use your hands and hit people."

Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
The yellow uniforms that Canada wore yesterday were a homage to the 1920 olympic gold champions (which was a team called the Winnipeg Falcons). Anyways - there back to normal colours today as they lead Slovakia 2-0 early in the 2nd period!

Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
Well, Canada beat Slovakia 5-1 - while Sweden edged the Czechs 4-3 in a close game. We'll see how the Russians do tomorrow...
