Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
The Russians zapped US 3-1, while Finland shut out Germany 3-0!
Geez, those Finns (well, Kiprusoff) haven't allowed a goal yet and they were suppose to be weak defensively!

They haven't met us yet....
(admittedly you do play much better against us than against anyone else though, why is that Karibou??)

Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
Ouch! The Czech's bounced Sweden 6-1 today to eliminate them in one of the quarter-final games. Finland just edged Germany 2-1 on Monday in a closer than expected game.
The lemon that accompanies this post is for the Swede's sour performance yet again. Too bad for Mats Sundin.
The US plays Russia tonight and Canada takes on the Slovaks tomorrow in the other two quarter-final games.

Re: OT- World Cup Hockey
The U.S. beat Russia 5-3 on Keith Tkachuk's 4 goals.
I think they'll play Finland in the semi-finals.
