That will be the starbase for the set. It won't prowl anywhere, but I wouldn't want to see it in any starsystems I'm going to conquer.
And I suppose it does resemble the alliance ships from Firefly (Seen the first few episodes, seen the ship in the episode when the reavers struck a settler ship), if Slynky saw this, I wonder if he'd say 'Shiney'.
