Re: Newbie Slug Fest - Mose Hansen game - OPEN
OK, Pythium is uploaded.
Wow,it amazes me everytime with the number of variables to be considered when creating a new Pretender and wondering whether the "build" of the Pretender, Scales, Magic, etc., will pay off.

Only 3 to go, including yours truly.
But I agree with this pretender design difficulty. I can't seem to find one which works with high indy and hard magic, lol.
So, why did I set it up this way anyway???

Only two left to upload:
Deccan as Jontunheim
Pickles as Mictlan

I'm loading mine after I get back from work. Figure on another 6 hours or so. Sorry about that. Never played the Jotuns before so a bit confused about what pretender / theme to use.

No problem. Pickles is asleep in London anyway.

Re: Newbie Slug Fest - Mose Hansen game - OPEN
All uploaded but one now. I am off to bed and I hope Pickles loads his pretender whilst I am snoozing. He should be getting up soon in London, but likely has to go to work.
The game will start whenever Pickles has uploaded his Mictlan pretender. This ought to be tomorrow.

This is a newbie game! You don't have to think too much into designigning your pretender
I've just considered I made a couple of mistakes ...

Be warned, inland map can get really crowded with 10 players. And with a relatively high indy setting, players will prefer to attack other players instead of indies.

This is so true. Inland has only about 150 land provs and 5 water ones. It is also wraparound and has very few choke points. With ten players on such a wide open map, this means that everyone is going to start right next to someone.
So you better dust off your scrolls and have some very good messengers going to your nearest neighbors right off the bat if you want to survive in this crowded realm!
